CORPORATE ACCOUNT MANAGER – Oilfield Sales

J MAR’s client, a well-established industrial supply and distribution company serving the energy sector, is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to drive business development across the Permian Basin, supporting the company’s OCTG, line pipe, and MRO products.
This is a newly created role focused on expanding the company’s presence in one of the most active energy markets in the country. While the company has an established footprint in the region, there is significant opportunity to expand and develop new business across key customer segments.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a business development environment and knows how to build on an existing foundation, open new doors, and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, pursue, and close new accounts across upstream, midstream, natural gas utility and adjacent industry customers.
- Expand and develop a book of business throughout the Permian Basin.
- Develop and execute account strategies to win and grow new relationships.
- Promote OCTG, line pipe, and MRO products, along with value-add solutions including inventory programs, warehouse management, and automation offerings.
- Partner with Regional VPs, corporate sales, and operations teams to support new account development and onboarding.
- Work with legal to negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant industry experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the energy industry with a focus on new business development.
- Strong presence and established relationships in the Permian Basin required.
- Proven ability to secure new accounts.
- Strong understanding of OCTG, line pipe, and/or MRO products.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.
TRAVEL
- Extensive travel throughout the Permian Basin and surrounding regions is required.
