CORPORATE ACCOUNT MANAGER – Oilfield Sales – Midstream

J MAR’s client, a well-established industrial supply and distribution company serving the energy sector, is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to drive business development within the midstream sector, supporting the company’s OCTG, line pipe, and MRO product lines.
This role is focused on expanding the company’s footprint with pipeline operators, gathering and processing companies, and natural gas utilities. While the company has an established presence in the market, there is significant opportunity to grow and develop new business within a defined customer base.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the midstream business, has established industry relationships, and knows how to turn those relationships into long-term commercial partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, develop, and close new midstream customer relationships across pipeline, gathering, and processing companies, as well as natural gas utilities.
- Leverage existing industry relationships to generate and develop new business opportunities.
- Create and execute account strategies aligned with midstream customer needs and procurement cycles.
- Promote OCTG, line pipe, and MRO products, along with value-add solutions including inventory programs, warehouse management, and automation offerings.
- Partner with Regional VPs, corporate sales, and operations teams to support account development and onboarding.
- Work with legal to negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant industry experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the energy industry with direct midstream exposure.
- Established relationships within midstream companies required.
- Proven ability to convert relationships into new business.
- Strong understanding of OCTG, line pipe, and/or MRO products in midstream applications.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.
TRAVEL
- Travel as needed across Texas, Oklahoma, and other key midstream markets.
